It features a complete foot platform with a solid heel support. It also features 2 oversized straps with reflective strip and stainless steel ringlets that allow for a strong yet comfortable fit. A counterbalance on the bottom also assures the pedal will always remain upright for easier entry and exit.

Perfect for special needs and motor control issues. Sold as a set of two. **Note: This pedal is not compatible with our Tandem Pro in the stoker position. The Tandem Pro captain position can utilize these pedals.

Ideal solution for a triker after you have a TKR (Total Knee Replacement)

However, for best recovery from TKR, these pedals were mounted after installing pedal position adapters with 5 locations for a pedal. Very important because the radius of the pedal also should also be reduced due to limited range of motion in the affected leg. As healing progresses,one can then move the pedals further out from from the axis. The extra weight of the pedals is actually beneficial as the momentum of rotation is enhanced. Of course, with pedal height shorter the boom will need a slight adjustment to compensate! Bottom line, these hefty pedals are highly recommended for a faster recovery and to exercise after a leg or a knee surgery! . Edmund D.
