Miss riding together?
A lot of folks who call me aren't shopping for a trike. They're trying to get back the rides they used to take with someone they love. A trike can do that.

A couple in Washington
They'd been big mountain bike riders years ago but hadn't ridden in a long time. He has Parkinson's, and the hills where they live are steep. They wanted motorized trikes so they could ride together again. Three wheels took the balance worry off the table, and the motor handles the hills that would have ended the ride before it started.
How trikes keep you riding side by side
When one of you has a motor, or you both do, you can ride at the same pace even if one of you is stronger. Nobody's waiting at the top of the hill. A trike can also ride next to a regular bike, so a partner on two wheels can still come along.
Every body is different, so talk to your clinician before you start riding. I'm a trike guy, not a doctor.
I'm Laid Back Mickey, owner of Laid Back Cycles. 15 years, over 6,000 trike clients. You can watch me talk trikes on our YouTube channel.
Questions riders ask me
Can one of us ride a trike and the other a bike?
Sure. Lots of couples do it. A motor on the trike helps keep the pace even.
Should we both get the same trike?
Not always. Your bodies are different, so your trikes may be too. We'll fit each of you during that one session.
Can we do a session together?
Yes. A couple can share one Dream Trike Session. Bring your partner and we'll fit you both in the same session.
How do we haul two trikes?
Some trikes fold and some don't. Tell me what you drive and we'll talk options.
