Easy Load Tray Recumbent Trike Carrier (2" Hitch)

The Easy Load Tray (ELT) is the simple, safe way to carry your recumbent trike, delta trike, or handcycle on the back of your vehicle. This is Easy Load's basic tray system, designed to hold one tadpole-type trike, D-trike, or hand cycle on a standard 2" receiver hitch.

The ELT is lightweight and easy to handle at roughly 36 pounds, since 10 of its 13 pieces are aluminum. It loads from either side thanks to ambidextrous wheel channels and two grip-taped ramps, so you can set it up to suit the way you park and load. Wheel chocks fitted with nylon straps and buckles secure both outer wheels, and a third strap secures the single wheel of the trike.

The tray comes wired with running lights, brake lights, and turn signals, powered through either a flat 4-pin or round 7-blade connector to match your vehicle. When no trike is loaded, the tray rotates to vertical to stay out of the way while parked, held safely by a gravity lock and a 3/8" safety clevis pin.

Your transporting vehicle's 2" receiver hitch should sit at about 16" of ground clearance (higher is fine). If it is lower, a riser is required, along with a second Hitch Tite to keep it from moving. Carry weight is limited to 85 pounds.
