The Gran Tourismo is TerraTrike's touring machine, and the e+ is the version that stops making you plan routes around elevation. The Y-frame with the triangulated rear end is stiff under load, the extended seat pan and Comfort Seat mesh hold up over long days, and the 24 inch rear wheel rolls efficiently.

The Bosch Performance Line motor delivers 75 Nm across four modes, from all-day Eco to Turbo. The 400 Wh PowerPack pairs with the Bosch Smart System, so the eBike Flow app handles navigation, theft protection and over-the-air updates. It works for a cross-country trip, a daily commute or an easy trail ride.

Who the Gran Tourismo e+ is for

This one's for the rider who wants the long day back. You still want to cover ground, but the hills have started deciding how far you go, and you turn around earlier than you'd like. The e+ takes that off the table. You pick the route, the Bosch motor takes the climb, and the seat carries your back the whole way out and the whole way home. Cross-country trip, daily commute, or an easy roll on the trail. Same trike.

Bosch Performance Line Motor

Up to 75 Nm of torque across four assist modes, from all-day Eco to Turbo, so the hill you used to route around becomes part of the ride.

Bosch Smart System

A 400 Wh Bosch PowerPack feeds the Smart System, and the LED Remote sits under your thumb so you change assist without letting go of the bar.

Extended seat pan on the Gran Tourismo e+

Extended Seat Pan

The extended pan and Comfort Seat mesh carry your back and hips together, and the recline sets anywhere from 40 to 65 degrees.

Frequently Asked Questions

There's no single number, because range comes down to which assist mode you're in, what you weigh, what you're carrying, and how hilly the route is. That's what the four modes are for. Eco stretches the 400 Wh pack a long way on flat ground. Turbo eats it. Most riders learn their own number in the first couple of weeks.
Yep. It's pedal assist, not a throttle, so the motor only adds to what your legs are already doing. Battery goes flat and you've still got a 10-speed touring trike under you. You'll feel the 58 pounds on a climb, so plan the ride, but you're not stuck out there.
It fits an X-seam of 37 to 46 inches. That's the measurement from the back of the seat to the bottom of your heel with your leg out straight, and it matters more than your height does. Seat height is 15 inches and the recline adjusts from 40 to 65 degrees. Take your X-seam before your Dream Trike Session and we'll know in about a minute whether this is your trike.
Same touring frame, same seat. The e+ adds the Bosch Performance Line motor, the 400 Wh PowerPack and the Smart System, and it runs a 10-speed drivetrain instead of the 18-speed. It's heavier at 58 pounds and it costs more. What you're paying for is a route you pick for the scenery instead of the elevation.
Combined load limit is 300 pounds, and that covers you plus whatever you strap on. Worth doing that math before you load up for a long tour. If you're near the number, say so on a Dream Trike Session and we'll look at what else will hold you.
It's 76 inches long and 58 pounds, so this isn't a lift-it-into-the-trunk trike. Most riders use a ramp into a van or SUV, or a hitch rack built for trikes. Tell me what you drive and we'll sort the transport before you buy, not after.
