No ICE or AZUB dealer near you? Here’s how buying from us works
No ICE or AZUB shop anywhere near you? Laid Back Cycles ships ICE and AZUB trikes fully built to people all over the country. You don’t have to live near Sacramento. We used to be almost all local. About five years ago people on our YouTube channel started asking if we’d ship, so we started. Now about half our trikes ship out of the area.
Here’s how it works. First, we get on the phone or video. I do a Build Your Dream Trike Session with you, and we go over where you ride and what works for your body. Then you send me your height, your weight and your X seam. We use those numbers to set up your trike.
ICE trikes are built to order in England and usually take 6 to 8 weeks. AZUB trikes are built in the Czech Republic and usually take 6 to 9 weeks. That can change depending on how busy the factory is, so I’ll tell you what I’m seeing when we talk.
When your trike gets here, we build it to those numbers. Then we test it. Before we box it up, we shoot you a VIP video going over your trike, so you know how everything works before it shows up. You take it out of the box and ride.
Woodrow couldn't find a trike shop near him
Woodrow is in his mid eighties and lives in North Carolina. He follows our stuff on Facebook. He called me and said, “I live in North Carolina, and I can’t find a shop anywhere within a reasonable distance that has a demo trike.” So we talked it through. Where he rides, roads and bike paths, and why the ICE PERS lets you pedal backwards at a stoplight. Then I told him we ship trikes all over the country every week, North Carolina included, fully built and ready to ride. You just send your height, your weight and X seam.
