Who the All Road eCAT is for

This one is for you if the rides have been getting shorter. Maybe it's the long grade on the way home, maybe it's the stretch of gravel or broken asphalt that beats you up, maybe it's a headwind that turns a good afternoon into a chore. The All Road eCAT takes both of those off the table. Suspension at each end soaks up what the surface throws at you, and the Bosch motor gives you a push right when your legs ask for it. You still pedal. You just get to choose how hard.

Bosch Active Line Plus

The motor reads how hard you're working and adds up to 270% assistance and 50 Nm of quiet torque, all the way up to 20 mph. No throttle, no lurch. You pedal, it helps, and the hill you used to turn around at stops being the end of the ride.

Full Suspension

Out back you get 2 inches of travel on a progressive path with a custom spring rate and real damping. Up front, Catrike's patented anti-dive spindles keep the nose settled when you get on the brakes. Gravel, packed dirt, chewed-up pavement. The trike takes the hit instead of your back.

A Seat You Can Get Out Of

The seat sits 13 inches off the ground and adjusts from 51 to 58 degrees, so you drop in, ride heads-up with a clear view of the trail, and stand back up without a fight.

Frequently Asked Questions

Bosch rates the 400 Wh battery at up to 62 miles. What you actually get depends on how much assist you ask for, how hilly your route is, and how much you're carrying. Ride a flat trail in a low assist mode and it stretches a long way. Sit in the highest mode up a long grade and it comes down. For most riders that's a full day out with range left over.
No. It's a Class 1 pedal assist system, so the motor only works while you're pedaling. Sensors read your effort and add up to 270% with 50 Nm of torque, then the assist tapers off at 20 mph. It feels like a good tailwind, not a scooter.
Same frame, same full suspension, same 13 inch seat, same three 20 inch wheels. The eCAT adds the Bosch Active Line Plus motor, the 400 Wh battery, a Purion display, integrated lights, and a 1x10 MicroShift drivetrain with an 11-42 cassette. It comes in at 60 pounds and $7,850. If the trike is right but the hills and the distance are the problem, this is the version that fixes it.
No. The SuperNova Mini 3 headlight and the TL3 taillight both run off the main battery, so there's nothing extra to remember. Charge the trike and your lights are charged too.
The All Road eCAT fits an X-seam of 39 to 46 inches, and the rider weight limit is 275 pounds. The seat reclines anywhere from 51 to 58 degrees and the boom adjusts to your leg length. Measure your X-seam first, then book a Dream Trike Session and we'll go through the fit together before you order anything.
That's the whole idea behind the name. Three 20 inch wheels on Schwalbe Big Apple Performance 2.0 tires, 6.5 inches of ground clearance, and suspension at both ends. Gravel paths, packed dirt, grass, and beat-up asphalt are all fair game. It isn't a mountain trike, but the surface stops deciding where you ride.
