The Gran Tourismo e+ is TerraTrike's touring trike with a Bosch motor added. The "e+" is TerraTrike's name for its electric models. It's pedal assist, so the motor only helps while you pedal.
I took a Gran Tourismo up a steep hill with the motor off, then on. Motor off, I made it, but I have a bad knee and I felt it.
Then I put it in Turbo, the strongest assist setting. It makes the hill like nothing. Like warm butter.
Even Eco, the lowest assist mode, made a big difference.

Is riding with a motor cheating?
People ask me that. And I'm all, no. You still pedal the whole way. The motor just helps, so the hills feel easier.
How far will the Gran Tourismo e+ go on one charge?
TerraTrike doesn't publish a range number. It comes down to your hills and which mode you ride in. Eco stretches the battery. Turbo uses it faster.
How is it different from the regular Gran Tourismo?
It's the same Y frame and seat, with the same 24 inch rear wheel. The e+ adds the Bosch system and runs 10 gears. It's heavier, 58 lbs compared with 41 on the standard GT.
Is it easy to get in and out of?
Pretty easy. The seat is 15 inches up, and TerraTrike says the Y frame leaves extra room for your heels when you step in. Want to try a higher seat? Ask me about the Rambler.

The Gran Tourismo is TerraTrike's touring machine, and the e+ is the version that stops making you plan routes around elevation. The Y-frame with the triangulated rear end is stiff under load, the extended seat pan and Comfort Seat mesh hold up over long days, and the 24 inch rear wheel rolls efficiently.

Who the Gran Tourismo e+ is for
This one's for the rider who wants the long day back. You still want to cover ground, but the hills have started deciding how far you go, and you turn around earlier than you'd like. The e+ takes that off the table. You pick the route, the Bosch motor takes the climb, and the seat carries your back the whole way out and the whole way home. Bosch Performance Line Motor
Up to 75 Nm of torque across four assist modes, from all-day Eco to Turbo, so the hill you used to route around becomes part of the ride.
Bosch Smart System
A 400 Wh Bosch PowerPack feeds the Smart System, and the LED Remote sits under your thumb so you change assist without letting go of the bar.
Extended Seat Pan
The extended pan and Comfort Seat mesh carry your back and hips together, and the recline sets anywhere from 40 to 65 degrees.
