The Rebel e+ is built for the rider coming to a trike for the first time, or coming back to riding after time away. The seat sits 18 inches off the ground so you step down into it rather than lowering yourself, the 24 inch wheels front and rear keep the ride settled, and the wide stance makes it hard to feel tippy.

The Bosch Performance Line motor gives you 75 Nm of torque through four assist modes, and the 400 Wh PowerPack has a digital battery lock. The Smart LED Remote adjusts to ambient light so you can read it, and the Bosch Smart System connects to the eBike Flow app for navigation, theft protection and over-the-air updates.

Built for your first trike, or your first ride in years

If it's been a few years since you rode and you're not sure the legs or the balance are still there, this is where I'd start you. The seat sits 18 inches off the ground, so you step down into it instead of climbing over anything, and with three wheels there's no balance to relearn. When you hit a hill, the Bosch motor picks up the part your legs used to handle. You decide how far you go, and getting home is never the hard part.

Frequently Asked Questions

Depends on how much help you ask the motor for. The Bosch PowerPack holds 400 watt hours, and that goes a lot further in Eco than it does in Turbo. Your weight, the wind and the hills all get a vote too. If you want a real number for the riding you actually do, that's a good question for a Dream Trike Session.
No. Three wheels hold you up whether you're moving or stopped, so there's no balance to relearn. You sit down, put your feet on the pedals and go. The Smart LED Remote is a few buttons under your thumb, and the eight speed drivetrain keeps shifting simple while you get your legs back.
The Rebel e+ fits an X-seam of 35 to 45 inches. X-seam is the measurement from the back of your seat to your heel with your leg straight out, and it matters more than your height does. The seat also slides 2.5 inches and reclines from 40 to 60 degrees. Take the measurement off our fitting instructions page, bring it to a Dream Trike Session, and we'll tell you straight whether this is your trike.
Yes. Shut the assist off and it rides as a regular eight speed trike. It's a 58 pound trike, though, so if there's a real hill on your usual loop, turn the assist back on for that part and enjoy it.
260 pounds combined, and combined means you plus anything you're carrying. If that number is tight, say so on your Dream Trike Session. There are trikes built to carry more, and I'd rather put you on the right one than sell you this one.
It costs more than the bike you rode in your thirties, and I'm not going to talk around that. What you're paying for is a trike you'll ride a few times a week instead of one that hangs in the garage. The Bosch system is a real motor built into the frame, not a kit bolted on after the fact, and every part on it is something our trike techs can service for years. If you ride it, it's worth it.
