The Traveler is the most portable trike TerraTrike builds, and the e+ electrifies it without giving that up. Single fold frame with a quick release, folding handlebars on a quick release hinge, and rapid axles so the wheels come off fast. Folded and ready to ride takes about as long as pulling a rack off the car.

The Enviolo City internally geared hub shifts smoothly, at a stop or under load. The Bosch Performance Line motor adds 75 Nm through four modes, the 400 Wh PowerPack locks digitally, and the eBike Flow app covers navigation and theft protection. Seat height is 15.5 inches with a full 6 inches of adjustment.

For the rider with a small car and a big hill

Maybe your car is small, your garage is already full, and the hill on the way home is what's been cutting your rides short. That's what this one is built for. The Traveler e+ folds at the frame and at the handlebars so it rides home in the trunk, and the Bosch motor means the hill stops deciding how far you get. You don't have to choose between a trike that packs down and a trike that climbs.

Bosch Performance Line Motor

Up to 75 Nm of torque across four assist modes, so the hill that used to end your ride is just part of the ride.

Single Fold Frame

The frame folds at one quick release joint and the handlebars fold on their own hinge, so the motor doesn't cost you the trunk.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The frame folds at a single quick release joint, the handlebars fold down on their own hinge, and the rapid axles let you pull the wheels off in seconds. The motor and battery stay right where they are through all of it. The trike weighs 61.5 pounds, so it's a two hands lift into a trunk, not a one hand toss.
The Bosch PowerPack holds 400 watt hours, and how far that goes depends on which of the four assist modes you ride in, how much you and your gear weigh, and how many hills you're climbing. Eco stretches a lot further than Turbo. Give us a call and we'll talk it through against the routes you actually ride.
It's an Enviolo City hub, so there are no gears to click through. You twist the grip and the gearing slides to where you want it, and you can shift while you're stopped at a light or leaning on the pedals halfway up a climb. Between that and the four assist modes, most riders have it sorted before the end of the first ride.
It's built for an X seam of 37 to 46 inches. The seat gives you 6 inches of adjustment, reclines from 40 to 60 degrees, and sits 15.5 inches off the ground, so getting in and out doesn't turn into a project. Combined load limit is 300 pounds. If you're not sure where you land, book a Dream Trike Session and we'll size it to your body before anything ships.
One color, Champagne, over a 4130 chromoly steel frame. Steel rides a little softer than aluminum over rough pavement, and it holds up to years of loading in and out of a car.
