Built for the rider who's short on space, not on miles

This one's for you if you've got a garage that's already full, a trunk that won't swallow a full-size trike, or an RV you want to throw it in for the weekend. The 5.5.9 folds down to about the size of a hall closet and weighs 39.5 pounds, so you can lift it, load it, and still get out and ride. You keep the comfortable, laid-back seat that holds your back and your neck. You just lose the storage headache.

Geared for going the distance

A 30-speed drivetrain and that big 26-inch rear wheel give you low gears for the climbs and high ones for the flats, so you can ride farther without running out of legs.

Frequently Asked Questions

It folds to about 46 by 32.5 by 29.5 inches and stands up on its own little parking wheels. That gets it into the back of most SUVs and hatchbacks, and it tucks into a corner of the garage instead of taking up a whole stall.
The 5.5.9 comes in at 39.5 pounds, which is light for a trike. Folded up it's a lot easier to handle than a full-size frame. A lot of riders load it solo. If lifting is tough on your back, we'll talk through a ramp or a rack on your Dream Trike Session.
It fits riders with an X-seam from about 39 to 46 inches, and the seat reclines anywhere from 44 to 51 degrees so you can sit up taller or lay back more. We dial all of that in during your fitting so the trike fits you instead of the other way around.
The rider weight limit on the 5.5.9 is 275 pounds. If you're close to that or want to carry gear on top, mention it on your Dream Trike Session and we'll make sure the setup is right for you.
It runs a 30-speed setup with a 30/39/52 triple crank and a wide range cassette, so you've got a low gear for climbing and plenty up top for cruising. If your routes are hilly, an eCat electric-assist version is also available.
