The Rover Tandem puts two riders on one TerraTrike.
Each of you pedals on your own. TerraTrike calls it the Independent Pedaling System. The rider in back can coast while the captain keeps going, so nobody has to match the other's pace.
It is rated to 500 lbs combined, which TerraTrike says is a bit more than the Tandem Pro. The seats sit 16 inches up, an easy height for getting on and off.
Shifting is an Enviolo internal hub. You twist, and it shifts even when you are stopped or loaded down.
The Hi Ten steel frame comes apart for transport. Put together it is 113.25 inches long.
A tandem will either break up a marriage or say that it'll still work. Come ride it together before you decide.
