Who the Full Fat is for

This is for the rider who doesn't want the pavement to be the end of the ride. Maybe you spent years on a mountain bike and your back or your balance finally said enough. The Full Fat takes you back out onto the sand, the snow, and the forest trail you thought you'd given up. Three wheels means you stay steady on loose ground, and the laid-back seat carries your whole body, so you feel the ride in your legs the next day, not your spine.

Rugged Design

With a high cruciform and three 26” wheels, the Full Fat offers excellent ground clearance for tackling rugged terrain. Its large, low-pressure tires ensure superior float and traction on soft surfaces and rough trails, making it perfect for venturing off the beaten path. Designed for exploration where other trikes can’t follow, the Full Fat excels on snow, sand, forest trails, and even in extreme expeditions like cycling to the South Pole.

Sporty Characteristics

The Full Fat may be a large trike, but it’s still foldable. Thanks to ICE’s innovative Compact Flat Twist fold, this trike can be easily collapsed for transport and storage. The fold mechanism features a lightweight, heat-treated aluminum hinge on the main frame, a hallmark of ICE's engineering. Like all ICE trikes (except the VTX), the Full Fat folds conveniently for transport in a car or for compact storage.

Four inches of rear suspension travel soak up the roots, rock, and washboard, so the rough trail reaches your wheels and not your back.

Sand, snow, gravel, and rough forest trail. The three 26-inch wheels run large, low-pressure tires that float over soft ground where a normal trike would dig in, and with 10.4 inches of ground clearance you can ride over the stuff that would high-center a road trike. People have taken these on serious expeditions, including a ride to the South Pole.
Not at all. It looks burly because of the fat tires, but you still sit in the same supportive recumbent seat that takes the load off your back and neck. Three wheels means there's no balance to worry about on loose ground. If anything, the wide stance and the suspension make it calmer to ride than it looks.
Yes. The Full Fat uses ICE's Compact Flat Twist fold, so it collapses down in under 30 seconds for the back of a car or for storage. It's a large trike, but it doesn't have to stay large when you're done riding.
It can. The Full Fat is available with a Shimano STEPS EP8 motor putting out 85Nm of torque, which is a real help if you want to cover more ground or push through soft sand and steep trail. We'll walk through whether you need it on your Dream Trike Session.
